Summer Netball Success

We have enjoyed some success this summer in the City Night Competition held at Priceline Stadium (Netball SA) after having four teams - B3, C1, C3 (1) and C3 (2) - make the finals this season!

Unfortunately, the B3 and C3 (2) were knocked out the first week of the finals, but this didn't stop the momentum of our other teams. On Tuesday (14 March), the C3 (2) culminated a great season by being undefeated. They beat St Ignatians in the Grand Final 45 - 37.

The C1s, which had only lost one game throughout the season, played MOSA in a tight game. They were down by 4 at three quarter time and made a comeback in the last 15 minutes. They won the last quarter 11 - 4 and the game by 3 (36 - 33).

The Club is hoping that the summer success can carry on into the winter season. They have been working with the Fitness Hub (the University of Adelaide Gym) for preseason training and teams have been selected.
